Overview

From a set of teacup and saucer known as a 'tennis set'. Collected for Industry exhibition.

Green lustre glazed saucer. Asymmetrical, to allow biscuit or sandwich to be placed beside cup. Worn gold rim. Stamped with the Subiaco Municipality Coat of Arms.

Base: On the bottom of the cup is a maker's mark of intwined 'B&W' which is surrounded in a circle by: 'QUALITY WEMBLEY WARE' and a crown at the top. Mark is in poor condition with most faded. White adhesive label on base-CIT 262. Red adhesive label '2005 L445.a Subiaco'
