GENERAL EMBROIDERY,NEEDLE CASE

Overview

This embroidered fold-up fabric container with 5 compartments is an example of a needlecase used to store packets of sewing needles. This one has needles packets - quilting, embroidery, chenille, betweens and tapestry. On the front the initials 'TB' is embroidered in bullion roses and chain stitch daisies. The front of each inside compartment had a circle, 25mm diameter, of embroidered flowers - 3 roses, one central daisy and French knot buds, each compartment a different colour. The whole is edged with cream satin fabric and tied with narrow cream satin ribbon.
