Overview

A contemporary piece of original art work of 2014 using canvas stitches.
A 3D construction supported on a circular wooden base and steel ring covered with flywire. The embroidery represents a tree and its internal capilliaries. The outside bark of the tree consists of canvas stitches :
worked in various colours in 'Oliver Twist' hand dyed threads. The internal capilliaries
are represented by twisted threads hanging from a circular frame covered in flywire. Flywire is also used for the lining of the tree trunk.
