BSHS Prefects 1980

After several personel changes, the 1980 prefects reached its present line up. This was not an exceptional year because we have all worked extremely hard to achieve our present bank balance. The best for many years. The year began with a lively two days at Wellington Mills. It was here that we got to know each other, welcomed Mr Oates into the role as co-liaison teacher and discovered how bad Miss Melling is at cards.

The main event on the calendar was the school ball which was a great success and we congratulate Carmen Smith and James Davies for being crowned Belle and Beau of the ball.

As well as the other activities such as socials, wear anything days, the Head Girl and Head Boy had the privilege of welcoming the Lord Mayor of London to Bunbury Senior High School.

The prefects have also assisted in preparing volleyball and netball teams from Gelorup for their carnival in Perth. This year we say goodbye to Miss Melling and Mr Oates as liaison teachers.
