Overview

From the 1920s, an exquisite oval hand beaded evening bag with a geometric design with silver metal frame and clasp.

Beads sewn onto a net fabric. A beaded oval tassel at base. Each side of the ornate filigree frame has intricate design of 6 figures, 2 ‘wind gods’ blowing the wind and 4 figures in different tasks – easel, spade, saw and pounding tool.

Closed with a silver metal twist knob, it has a metal chain handle. Lined with black silk.

Many beads have fallen off.
