Royal Air Force gold filled silver sweetheart brooch

World War Two era gold filled sterling silver sweetheart brooch.
It features detailed outspread pilot wings flanking a solid central wreath containing the letters 'RAF' within a circular border, surmounted by a King's Crown.
It is made in two pieces with the wings and flat base providing a foundation for the crowned wreath.
The reverse of the brooch is plain with the exception of 'GF' and 'STERLING" impressed into the back. There is also a maker's mark in the shape of an eye, but the maker cannot be determined.
It has a pin clasp for attachment.
