1987 State Representative Sports Award - D. Moyle (Baseball)
1987This is a reproduction of the 'State Representative Sports Award' certificate issued by the Government of Western Australia to Dean Moyle in 1987, when he was chosen to represent the State in baseball.
The A4-size certificate has a narrow black border around a pale-yellow background with black cursive script text. The recipient's name, sport and date are handwritten in black felt pen. The Western Australian state coat of arms is printed in the bottom left-hand corner and the Minister for Sport and Recreation's signature (in blue pen) is in the bottom right-hand corner.
This 'State Representative Sports Award', presented only to those who were chosen to represent Western Australia, congratulated Dean Moyle on his selection in the 1987 baseball team. He was a member of the Western Australian team that competed in the Australian under-18 baseball championship. The competition was held in Syndey, New South Wales at Oriole Park in Auburn, from January 3rd to the 15th.
