Photograph 'A' depicts Western Australian team members (L-R) Craig Williamson, Heath Gillard, Jeff Hooker, John Biggs, Sean Jones, John Moore, Steve Meloncelli, Shaun Hrabar, Grant Johnston, Dean Moyle, Nick Stilian, Gavin Oliphant, Western Australian Umpire Alan Luscombe, Coach Colin Guest, Shayne Ruscoe and Northern Territory team member Scott Mcintosh.
Photograph 'B' shows the Western Australian team and officials at Oriole Park during the closing ceremony of the 1987 championship.
The 1987 Australian Under-18 Baseball Championship was held in Sydney, New South Wales at Oriole Park in Auburn, from January 3rd to the 15th. All states and territories except Tasmania were represented, with NSW Country invited to fill the vacancy left by Tasmania. New South Wales won the championship, defeating Queensland 9-4 in the final.
