Overview

A dainty shadow work sachet for nightdress, made from white organza.
Front flap has design of embroidered crinoline lady, picking flowers in her garden.
Flowers include hollyhocks, daisies and poppies.
Shadow applique brown paving stones are in the garden.
The scalloped edge is worked in dark blue buttonhole stitch.
This is one of a set of three sachets, worked in shadow work from the original owner.
Others are sachets for hosiery # 2002.27 and for handkerchiefs # 2002.28.
