One of a series of photographs of staff, students, buildings, and activities around Claremont Teachers College taken by Roy Grace between 1927-1928 when a student at Claremont Teachers College. During this time Roy was one of the photographers who contributed to the WA Trainee magazine.

After attending Claremont Teachers College, Roy became a high school science teacher. Roy's last posting was as the Deputy Principal of Churchlands Senior High School in 1972.
