Historical information

Frank R Somerville commenced his teaching career at North Perth in 1931. His last teaching posting was as a Senior Master at Mirrabooka Senior High School in 1971.

John Reymond 'Jack' Elliott (1908-1980) commenced his teaching career at Fremantle Boys in 1930. His last teaching posting was at John Curtin Senior High School 1973.

Thomas Hartley 'Tom' Nadebaum commenced his teaching career at Perth Boys in 1930. His last teaching posting was as the Headmaster of Hillcrest Primary School in 1972.

One of a series of photographs of staff, students, buildings, and activities around Claremont Teachers College taken by Roy Grace between 1927-1928 when a student at Claremont Teachers College. During this time Roy was one of the photographers who contributed to the WA Trainee magazine.

After attending Claremont Teachers College, Roy became a high school science teacher. Roy's last posting was as the Deputy Principal of Churchlands Senior High School in 1972.
