After attending Claremont Teachers College, Clifford Gearin Carrigg commenced his teaching career in Geraldton in 1928. Cliff passed away in 1947 whilst a Science Master at Perth Modern.

Taken by Roy Grace between 1927-1928 when a student at Claremont Teachers College. Roy was one of the photographers for The WA Trainee magazine. After attending Claremont Teachers College, Roy became a high school science teacher. Roy's last posting was as the Deputy Principal of Churchlands Senior High School in 1972
