c. 1920 - 1929
Subcollections
Overview

A black & white photo of a very flooded Avon River flowing under the former Toodyay Bridge. River level is 2-3 feet below the bridge floor.
In the foreground is a flooded corrugated iron structure with a crude clothes line above with 3 items attached. Some corrugated iron is also forming part of a fence.
A car of that period with 2 ladies nearby is parked near what is probably a toilet.
The surrounds of all is Mt. Anderson where 4 dwellings (2 in Drummond Street and two in Mt Anderson Street) can be seen, on the far side of the river.
