STAMPED LINEN, RUNNER
An unusually long table runner in dark taupe linen with stamped floral design for hand embroidery early 20th C.
The design has been put on with the ‘prick and pounce’ method, which predated machine dyed patterns.
Drawn thread hem stitched edging by machine.
