George Frederick Birkbeck lived in 18 Servetus Street, Swanbourne. He married Annie Johnstone in 1929. Ran the Ascot Dairy on Servetus Street (which continued until the 1980s).
He was a Claremont Councillor from 1938-1951 for the South Ward.
