IRON: FLAT IRON, NO. 7
Roughly triangular flat iron with fixed handle. No. 7 appears in raised letters on top at pointed front end.
This item preceded Mrs. Potts irons (with wooden detachable handle). It was heated on the stove and had to be handled with care as the handle grew hot at the same time as the sole.
