Overview

Blue and white postcard (mostly faded to grey) of the Municipal Gardens, Subiaco, featuring a view northwards of the Subiaco Municipal Gardens and rotunda. In the image the rising sun casts long shadows across the lawn.

On the reverse is a hand written note addressed to 'Bert' from Mrs Lewis of 13 Austin Street, Subiaco. The note mentions Bert being in the 'trenches', and presumably relates to Bert Congdon, whose daughter donated the postcard to the museum.
