Overview

From a collection of seven black and white photos showing flower displays outside the GPO Perth in 1953. The displays are entitled: 'Philately in Flowers' with a sub-title of National Flower Day 1953.
Image: Two stamps attached to an oversized post box. A 1/- (one shilling) stamp has a kangaroo in the centre of an outline of Australia. The secondf stamp, (3 half pence) has a swan and commemorates the centenary of Western Australia 1829 to 1929. On back: Neg.no. 1476/D.
