DAVIS/DENTAL SURGEON] painted on a door leading to consulting rooms above. To the right is a high brick wall and a modern brick building with wide, light coloured facia.

Historical information

Mr WA Furniss originally owned the Furniss Building beginning in 1927. Original numbers were 41- 43. By 1936 the numbers changed so that the bottom northern shop was 41, the upstaris surgery and room were 43 and the bottom southern shop and living quarters were 45. The building was then owned by Maxime Philip Oberman. The building was demolished in 1973.
