NATIONAL BANK BUILDING

Overview

B/W print. The National Bank building Claremont from the south west. The dark coloured two storeyed building has a corner door with light surround and [NB] above it and also in the glass fanlight. There is another door near the eastern end of the building to the living accommodation. The windows are all light, the ones at ground level have bars on them. There is a shop on the Bay View Terrace side with a cantilever verandah with [NATIONAL BANK] on the side of it. Around the upper wall is [THE NATIONAL BANK OF AUSTRALASIA LIMITED] A small sign near the entrance is [NATIONAL/BANK]. On both sides of the door are traffic lights and an electricity pole with street light attached on Stirling Highway. A Neon sign is on the roof. There are two men talking near the door and one walking down the footpath.
