Long steel bladed knife with handle covered in rubber tubing.
Blade is hollow to allow two tubes to pass through the handle end into the blade and out again for heating.
Plastic tubing is sticking out of the handle and surrounded by silicone glue.
Two brackets hold the handle to the knife.

Historical information

Associated with the Cook family, who had established an apiary at Coondle in the Toodyay district by 1902.
