Overview

A single piece of pine timber cut into a rectangle and braced on one end with a piece of timber nailed to either side vertically.
Five nails secure these timbers, all of which are rusted and stain the surrounding timber.
Splits are evident near some nails.

Historical information

Associated with the Cook family, who had established an apiary at Coondle in the Toodyay district by 1902.
