METAL SLICE LIPFERT
c. 1930Slice comes from Lipfert home, 270 York Street, Subiaco. It is a flat rectangular slice, with rounded corners and large perforations arranged in a diamond shape. Used for lifting and turning food (egg and fish). The handle and base are in 1 piece with handle rising at angle of about 40 degrees from base. Handle is raised along central section and has rolled edges. There is hole at top for hanging slice on hook. Slice used to turn and remove fried food from pan.
