TOOL: LEATHER STICK, WOODEN, LIPFERT FAMILY
Roughly spatula-shaped tool with slightly curved handle. Flat and straight sided along its whole length up to the head, where it is rounded off to form an edge. Used to spread glue on leather when joining seams. Probably used by Otto Lipfert who enjoyed doing leatherwork as a hobby. From the Lipfert home at 270 York Street, Subiaco.
