NEEDLE, BAG, FOR LEATHERWORK Curved needle with a rounded shape where it leaves the eye, flaring out to flat, sharp-edged diamond shape before tapering to a point. Used to stitch leather bags. Its curved shape facilitates reaching into difficult corners. Stamped 'Ross A1'. Probably used by Otto Lipfert who enjoyed leatherworking for relaxation. From the Lipfert home at 270 York Street, Subiaco.
