An attractive semi-circular hand beaded evening bag, purchased in George’s Department store in Melbourne in 1950s.
An accessory carried at formal dances/balls by the donor at the time.
White looped seed beads cover the bag, which is lined with oyster coloured satin fabric.
Metal zip closing and a rolled beaded handle.
