CUTWORK, TEA CLOTH
Beautifully embroidered tea cloth with matching serviettes was stitched by the donor’s grandmother in early 20th C.
Embroidered on linen with taupe cotton thread, the design is of cutwork tulips ineach corner and in the centre, a circle of cutwork tulips.
6 matching serviettes, but due to lack of space only 2 were kept.
Cutwork in one corner.
