Overview

B/W Prints fading to sepia. Both images show a barefooted Peggy perched on the edge of a cane chair. Bruce, in tunic, is standing on the chair and leaning towards Jo who is wearing dark, long-sleeved jumper, skirt and stockings and standing beside the chair. In the background are a fence, palm fronds and the gable and window shade of a house. In pencil on the rear of (a) [L-R Peggy, Maida, Jo/ Sharkey] and on (b) [Peggy, Maida & Jo/ Sharkey].

Historical information

In spite of inscriptions on rear of prints, child in centre of group is Bruce Sharkey (in a tunic as worn by young boys) and the girl on the right is Maida Sharkey. Girl on left is unknown.
