Overview

Mrs Napier is sitting in a deckchair behind a small bamboo-legged tea table with her sons beside her. Mr and Mrs Sharkey, each holding cups, are seated in cane chairs on either side. Raymond Sharkey is wearing a suit, bow tie and boots, the women are dressed in long-sleeved blouses and skirts, and the boys in short pants and polo-necked jerseys. A well-developed garden forms the background.

Raymond John Sharkey an architect, surveyor and amateur photographer was born in 1868 in New South Wales. Raymond was a Claremont resident when he died at an early age.
