Two men are holding enamel mugs, another a bottle, and spread in front of them is all the paraphernalia of a bush picnic - plates, billy, iron kettle, portable stove, sugar canister, bottles, boxes, baskets and an opened food tin.

Historical information

This does not appear to be a leisure activity, but rather lunch while travelling or working in the bush. Possibly relates to period when Raymond Sharkey worked in Esperance/Goldfields region.
