Overview

Four women painting the interior of Connor's Mill.
One woman is standing on a beam, paint tin in one hand, paint brush in the other hand and smiling down at another person lower left of her standing (obscured) on the landing of the staircase. She appears to be either painting or touching up the paint on the beam above several pictures hung on the wall in front of her. There is a straw broom leaning against machinery in the background behind the painter. The heads of two other persons are in the right foreground.

Historical information

Alison Wroth is in the photo.
A late Victorian-era working flour mill display was created in Connor's Mill, Toodyay in 1994 with milling equipment donated by Weston Milling after their Northam Mill had been modernised. The machines were moved, restored and installed by volunteer labour. As a part of the project, murals were painted inside the mill.
