HOUSE AND GARDEN, TWO PHOTOGRAPHS ON METAL PLATE

Subcollections
Overview

Two photographs affixed to metal plate to form a panormic scene.
Modest home, two slender black ventilation pipes at rear, windows on left end wall, in front small porch, windows on walls on either side of porch, but porch wall obscured by trees.
Foreground left centre, slice of corrugated shed, telephone pole, vines.
Surroundings under cultivation, fruit trees.
Background left, low sheds.
Water tank in middle distance, cleared land behind house, bush beyond.

Historical information

Another copy of the photograph on the right is held separately in the Shire of Toodyay collection as 2001.1786. Peter Salvaire is recorded as the donor of that photograph and so possibly it may show the homestead on his Manmanning property in the Dowerin Shire.
