a) Set of music sheets (18 pages) for fifth grade, cover held on with masking tape along the spine. Inside front cover a narrow section of lined paper has been affixed with masking tape. Rear page torn
b) Set of music sheets(9 pages), partially held together with yellow cotton thread
c) Set of music sheets (3 pages plus front & back covers), covered in brown paper.
These books were used for music examinations in the 1950s. The pencilled notes appear to have been made by Sister Claver, the music teacher at the St. Aloyisius Convent of Mercy School, Toodyay. The books were owned by Susan Watkins, the sister of the donor Margot Watkins and the daughter of Eric & Therese Watkins from Toodyay.

a) Handwritten at top right on the first page, 'Susan Lizama / this is from the time of Sister Claver at the Toodyay Convent'.
c) Written at top right of cover 'Susan / Chopin: Mazurka etc.' On page 3 there are two more notations. The first, "This is Sister Claver's writing, from the Toodyay convent!" with an arrow pointing to a second notation in different handwriting, "A Polish National dance in Triple time, with a variable accent on the 3rd beat".
