MILLING MACHINERY; MILLSTONES

1994
Subcollections
Overview

Two millstones; bottom right, millstone lying on brick paving at foot of wall near the downpipe. Centre left, millstone encased in heavy wooden frame - possibly jarrah, with metal equipment directly under the stone. To the side and in the background are other wooden items/machinery. Behind all of this is a corrugated fence topped and trees.

Historical information

A late Victorian-era working flour mill display was created in Connor's Mill in 1994 with milling equipment donated by Weston Milling after their Northam Mill had been modernised. The machines were moved, restored and installed by volunteer labour.
