These girls are presumed to have been members of the Toodyay Girls Gymnasium Club. This group ran from May 1924 to possibly May 1925 and had definitely ceased by November 1925. The club was started by Nurse M. Greaves who ran the Toodyay Hospital at that time, so they had a few events that raised funds for the Hospital and Methodist Church.
