'For Right and Freedom' patriotic plate - WWI

Overview

World War One era white, circular, glazed bone china plate featuring the flags of the allied nations: Great Britain, Belgium, Russia and France.
Where the flagpoles join, there is a wreath of leaves with a golden rose at the base, some rope with tassels on the ends, and a yellow scroll with the words 'For Right and Freedom' written in black lettering.
Above this on the rim of the plate is a depiction of the King's crown in gold and red, under which a blue decorative scroll appears. The plate has a decorative gold edge.
The reverse of the plate bears the maker's name and logo.

Historical information

A patriotic plate produced early in the Great War to show the solidarity of the allied nations in fighting a common enemy with a common purpose - For Right and Freedom.
