GENERAL EMBROIDERY, MAT
Overview
The centring of the casual flowing design on this oval mat is unusual. The floral design on ecru linen doyley, is centred, taking up most of the area. At the top, on either side, is a floral spray with bud and leaf.
The flowers and leaves in the design are densely filled with stem, satin or buttonhole stitch.
There is a 15 mm crochet lace edging around the perimeter.
