Most attractive and unusual Chinese silver needle holder in shape of a woman with long skirt, wide brimmed hat, carrying a fish in right hand and a basket in the left. A longish chain goes through the centre, from the hat to the base of skirt, which, when pulled down, contains a needle holder at the end to which is attached a silver charm with a monkey embossed. When the chain is pulled up, the needle holder nestles in the garment.
