1915Horizontal grey postcard with 'Loving Birthday Greetings / to my dear Wife' in swirly decorative black font across the top long edge. On the left there is a glass coup with a flared metal base wthat is filled with roses in pink, orange and yellow. There are four roses on the ground beside the coupe. To the right ther is a poem in decorative type within a cream framed box. The poem reads: 'May your Birthday be so joyous, / And so full of sweet content, / That you'll evermore regard it / As the happiest you've spent. / May the year that is unfolding / Prove each day to be more fair; / May a bright path lay before you / E'en without a shade of care. / Lyle'
On the reverse there is a handwritten message in grey cursive which reads: 'To my dear wife in token of love / from Jim on the 28th anniversary / of her Birthday 17:10:1915'.
