Overview

From a collection of birthday postcards sent to Lillian by her husband James (Jim).
Front: 'Loving Birthday Wishes to my Wife' with some flowers and a painted image. Handwritten message 'To my dear wife on her 51st Birthday Oct 17 1938 From your Loving Husband Jim.' There is a poem at the bottom.
Reverse: M & L Postcard. Handwritten poem starts;
'On your 21st Birthday I was pleased that we met'
There is a poem in the middle. Message ends,
'But my Queen I'm giving you this Crown instead Jim.'
