Overview

Black and white aerial photograph of Metters' factory, taken in 1965 when Metters' new showroom and offices were built in the triangle formed by Salvado Road and Roydhouse Street. The office was at the tip of the triangular building at the corner (bottom right of the image). Salvado Road runs obliquely from top left to lower right hand side of the picture. Factory yards with finished products such as pipes are clearly visible in the foreground. There are residences on the other side (north) of Salvado Road in the upper right hand corner of the photograph.
