PHOTOGRAPH: METTERS' FACTORY - ENTRANCE GATE
1965Black and white photograph of Metters' factory taken from Salvado Road. At centre is a wire gate with 'Metters Limited' sign attached to its arched top. The gate gave access to the alley running between two sections of the factory. The dark façade immediately on the right of the gate belonged to the new enamelling works opened in 1965. Two men are standing in front of a small brick building to the left of the gate.
