Black and white photograph showing Premier Brand pulling the cord to unveil a plaque which is illegible. There is a stove below the plaque with a card advertising Metters' 'Wembley' electric range. J.B. Clarkson (General Manager of General Industries Ltd) and Wally Hughes (General Manager of Metters Ltd) are seated on the dais behind Premier Brand. Above is a large board on which is written: 'METTERS 1885-1965 70 YEARS OF PROGRESS'. Metters new showrooms in Wembley were opened to coincide with their 70th anniversary.
