1905Brown leatherette diary Australasian edition. Medical diary, index and visiting list for 1905.
Held closed by a metal stud to the centre of the back.
1905 is embossed at the top of the spine. Inside front is a full length pocket with a central pen holder in the same material as the cover. Inside front and rear is olive green paper with a gold motif.
Inside rear cover has a glued-in Memoranda sheet. Two colour photographs with black and white illustrations. Published by Burroughs, Wellcome and Co/ London Sydney and Cape Town.
The first half of the book is medical information with index. The second half is in diary format. To the back is 'Wellcome' brand products and price lists.
The owner of the diary was Ethel Hannah Twine, born 1879 in Toodyay and the daughter of Henry James Twine and Sarah Hannah (mead) Twine. Ethel went on to marry Lionel Taylor Lloyd and died in 1952.
Ethel was included in the First Register of Midwives in Western Australia as listed in the Supplement to the Government Gazette of Western Australia, 7 February 1913.
