Alfred Edward Cox was born c1870. He was an archtiect and Councillor for the South ward of Claremont from 1922-1924.
He was married to Harriet Eliza Siviour and lived in Goldsmith Road, Claremont. Children: Alfred Richard Baxter (b.1898), Linwood Gillard (b.1900), Richard (b.1905), Doreen Pamplin (b.1906) & Jeffrey Pamplin (b.1906), Marion Beatrice (b.1909) and Florence Adelaide (b.1913).
