Historical information

Robert Jame Cox born in Gosport, Hampshire in 1880. He arrived in Albany in 1911. Robert was a civil servant and a former Town of Claremont Councillor from 1919-1920.

Married Elsie Helene Properjohn (born in Somerset, England in 1881 and arrived in WA in 1913), in Claremont in 1913. Children: Russell (b.1914) and Sylvia (b.1915).

Lived on Victoria Parade (c1912), Thompson Road (c1919), Saladin Street (c1920), 28 Reserve Street (c1921) and 6 Grange Street (c1925) in Claremont and then Ventnor Street, West Perth.
