Metal Milk Strainers
Conical galvanised milk strainers with fine wire mesh at the bottom. Some have a ring on the side of the lip for hanging on a wall for storage. The strainer would sit on a milk can or other container, the milk would be poured through and the cream and any other sediment would be caught in the mesh strainer whilst the strained milk would flow into the catching container.
