Historical information

James Sydney Cresswell was born 1921 to Leonard Cresswell and Mary Rough of Claremont. He had two brothers; Leonard Norman and Ian Arthur Cresswell.

James married Patricia Mary Phillips.

James worked as a builder, and was a Town of Claremont Councillor from 1951-1968. Cresswell Park is named after him.
