c. 1990 - 1999A pair of identical bobbin lace swans, the fauna emblem of Western Australia, made by former W.A. Guild President, Kay MacFarlane. These lace pieces, showcase the extent of Kay’s creative handcraft abilities, a lady who has donated many beautiful pieces in a range of embroidery techniques, patchwork and lace to the Guild’s Historic Textile Collection.
