A delicate lady's handkerchief with edging of beautiful fine machine lace, emulating tatting from 1890s.

Handkerchiefs were a significant costume accessory for women in late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Scalloped edge to which is attached a decorative lace edging.

One stain and signs of wear.
